Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Oracle databases, particularly within the Oracle eBusiness Suite environment (version 12.2.9). The DBA will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our Oracle databases, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software and related products.
Monitor and optimize database performance using tools such as Oracle Grid Control.
Perform database backups, restores, and recovery procedures.
Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the smooth operation of Oracle eBusiness Suite applications.
Stay up-to-date with Oracle technologies and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Proficiency in Oracle eBusiness Suite version 12.2.9.
Experience with Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Familiarity with database monitoring and performance tuning tools such as Oracle Grid Control.
Ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.
