Job Title: LIS Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled LIS Analyst to join our healthcare organization's IT department. The LIS Analyst will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in LIS software, a solid understanding of laboratory workflows, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with laboratory staff and IT teams.
Responsibilities:
Implement and configure Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) software according to organizational needs and specifications.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for LIS users, including laboratory technicians, clinicians, and IT staff.
Collaborate with laboratory staff to understand workflow processes and implement system enhancements that improve efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making and process improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
Participate in training sessions for end-users to ensure proper utilization of LIS functionalities.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in LIS technology to recommend system upgrades or enhancements.
