Senior Data Analyst
Full Time • Tampa/Orlando, Florida
Responsibilities:
- Data Mining: Use data query languages (preferably SQL or Python) to extract and manipulate oncology medical records data.
- Data Cleaning and QA: Ensure the accuracy and quality of data by performing thorough cleaning and quality assurance checks.
- Preparation of Client Deliverables: Compile, format, and present data deliverables to meet client requirements and expectations.
- Data Visualization: Create insightful data visualizations using tools like Power BI to effectively communicate data insights.
- Track Progress with Jira: Utilize Jira to create and manage tasks, track project progress, and ensure clear communication and collaboration within the team.
- Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to continuously enhance data processes.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency querying databases using SQL.
- Proficiency coding in Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- A passion for data science and its applications in the life sciences and oncology field (highly desirable).
