BSS Solutions Architect – Functional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a BSS Solutions Architect – Functional with over 12 years of experience in designing, architecting, and implementing complex software and telecom solutions. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise-level BSS/OSS architecture, agile transformation, and cloud-native practices, along with a strong background in lifecycle management, customer-centric solutioning, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect end-to-end systems and processes tailored to customer requirements
- Evaluate existing architectures and recommend improvements aligned with cloud-native principles
- Lead design and implementation of large-scale enterprise software solutions
- Define and implement lifecycle management processes and tools
- Create and maintain detailed Level 3/4 architecture documents including:
- Flow diagrams
- Sequence diagrams
- Network configuration diagrams
- Flow diagrams
- Actively participate in architectural design and review sessions
- Deliver end-to-end solutions for Telecom BSS/OSS platforms
- Lead service enablement, IAM, and Universe 2.0 architecture initiatives
- Manage multiple full-cycle agile implementations across billing, payments, eBilling, and customer care domains
- Conduct in-depth requirement analysis, complex solution design, and test case design
- Coordinate defect resolution, product configuration, and component-level design
- Collaborate with product owners, PMs, and technical teams to align architecture with business needs
- Ensure architecture documentation is accurate and up to date
- Contribute to performance KPI monitoring and robust solution design
- Manage direct and virtual teams to maintain solution stability
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of relevant experience in architecture and solution design
- Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise telecom BSS/OSS solutions
- Strong knowledge of service enablement, IAM, billing systems, and customer care platforms
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and full-cycle implementations
- Proficiency in creating detailed architectural documents (Level 3/4)
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional and virtual teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and performance-focused mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Universe 2.0 architecture
- Deep understanding of Telecom industry standards and best practices
- Certifications in cloud technologies, solution architecture, or agile methodologies

Compensation: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour
