Job Description:
A Cerner EMR Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, configuring, testing, and supporting the Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This includes working closely with clinicians, administrators, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, translate those requirements into system design specifications, and configure the EMR system to meet those specifications.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
· You must have a strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and EMR systems.
· You must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· You will have to work with technical teams to ensure the EMR system is integrated with other healthcare systems and meets all regulatory and compliance requirements.
· You must collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure the system is working effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of the organization.
· You will be responsible for providing guidance and recommendations to the organization on best practices and new technologies.
· You must stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the healthcare technology industry to ensure the EMR system is meeting the organization's needs and providing the best possible patient care.
