Job Summary:
The Nursing Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing daily operations within the healthcare facility. This role involves leadership, staff supervision, compliance with healthcare regulations, and continuous improvement of patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage nursing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices
- Monitor patient care outcomes and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
- Coordinate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and administrative teams
- Manage department budgets, resources, and inventory
- Handle patient concerns and resolve issues effectively
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and quality standards
- Lead staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous education programs
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN); Master’s degree preferred
- Valid nursing license (RN)
- 5+ years of clinical nursing experience
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
